Shikshana Prasarak Samiti has started Highschool in Bilagi, which is rural area of Siddapur taluk, Based on people’s need and with the co-operation of locals the High school was started in the year 1967.
The very motto of samiti is “Education Is Power”,. To get the Highschool education people used to walk up to 10-15 km, in that situation High school has seen fulfillment in providing education to the People of rural backward area. Nearly 2000 students have gained their high school education from this institution in the last five decades.
Academic:
High school is giving education in state level syllabus with the innovative teaching aids. Apart from the curriculum the high school has given emphasis on extra curriculum activities sports, cultural program music, etc. Students have got right platform to show their talents.
Result: School has secured 100% result in S S L C board exam in all these years.
Achievements:
- Kumar Rajeev Bhat and Kumar Karthik G Bhat has got 2nd and 8th rank respectively during the 2014 and 2019 S S L C exam.
- Teachers are qualified and they have participated in many competition meant for teachers and with many awards they were felicitated.
- Kumari Jayalaxmi M Hegde in 2005 secured first place in State Level Debate Competition.
