About the college

Chetana Pre-University Science College was started to stop students from this region having to move away in search of quality science education. The idea came from Chairman Shri Vinayakrao G. Hegde. The college has well-established infrastructure and all amenities for students.

Principal Prof. U. T. Hegde and a team of well-qualified, experienced teachers have made Chetana one of the best colleges in the district. The college has recorded 100% results from the very beginning, with a very good success rate in the CET and NEET examinations.

Professionalism is the college's motto. Every student is given individual attention, and every classroom has modern facilities such as smart boards and computers. Regular, effective teaching combined with CET and NEET coaching gives our students a better chance of entering professional courses.

Laboratories

The college has fine laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science. The chemistry lab is well organised with all equipment and apparatus, and regular practical sessions take students' knowledge to another level.
