Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
A man is but a product of his thoughts; what he thinks, he becomes.
Where it all began
Shri Ganesh Hegde Dodmane brought high-school education to Siddapur. Siddhivinayak Boys High School opened in 1953, and education began to change this part of the world.
Until then Siddapur had no high school, and students travelled to Sirsi or Kumta to continue their studies. Shri Ganesh Hegde, though a brilliant student, had himself been denied a high-school education.
Since then more than 10,000 students have completed high school here, and many of them have served, and still serve, the nation in many fields.
The school has had many eminent head masters, beginning with founder head master Shri Pralhad Rao and then Shri C. P. Achar. Today Shri Arun Bhagwath leads the school, guided by Chairman Shri Vinayakrao G. Hegde and Vice Chairman Dr. Shashibhushan Hegde.
